Wizzlebiz Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 At my local pond I see bass popping their heads out of the water and then ducking back in. Why are they doing this? 1 Quote

Super User N Florida Mike Posted August 24, 2019 Super User Posted August 24, 2019 Probably is a carp. They do that consistently. 9 Quote
JediAmoeba Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Sounds like carp or possibly turtles? Unless they are coming up to gulp air? Are the fish relatively healthy? When the dissolved oxygen gets extremely low some fish will come up and gulp at the surface...but if this were the case you would notice some dead fish and it would smell bad 1 Quote
