Sooo I got the megabass orochi xx and I’m looking for a decent reel to pair with.  I got the perfect pitch for well, exactly that.  Pitching , flipping. Punching some mats and deep cover. I have been using a daiwa Tatula ct on my other rod but it’s a little heavy and bulky.  I love the T wing system and the daiwa lets me pitch effortlessly. I would like something that palms easy and is light but also holds decent line just Incase I wanna bomb a cast. Thank you for your help whoever responds. Price range is around 200$ maybe 250$

Anything really you arent casting so get whatever you want. Diawa has an elite pitch and flip reel coming soon to a retailer near you.

The new lews tournament pro lfs is a great reel for the money.  I'm not personally a fan at all of the t wing so that rules out most of daiwas offerings. Shimano chronarch mgl or curado k are also fine choices.

I on the other hand have 3 Diawa T Wing reels, from the Feugo to the 200HL..all work great. I was a die hard Shimano user in the past..

The lews is an awesome reel. I went out and got the lews, curado k, and tatula sv and if I had to be stuck with any of them for the rest of my life I would be ok with it. Agreed upon the TWS. I like how it fishes but I think it's a weak spot in the reel. I fell going down a cliff and the tws got some sand in it and never worked properly again.

I have no way of knowing for sure but I broke off on hook sets many times using tatula reels. I dont remember ever doing this with any other reels I've owned.  I've used the same line and rods for years so I've ruled those out. Sold all my tatulas and havent had a break off since. Again...just my experience as I know there are tons of people who absolutely love them.  I like the fuego ct a lot myself for the money and it's the only daiwas I will own. I liked the tatulas but lost confidence in em. Pretty sure the fuego has always had the standard line guide
