Hey guys this will be my first post on this forum. I’m in the market for a used boat. I don’t want to spend more than $8,000-$9,000. I’ve found both of those boats for around the $8,000 range.

2005 Nitro nx750dc

-Mercury 135hp Optimax

-46 lbs thrust motorguide tm

-2 Humminbird Helix 5s with di, si, and gps

2001 Skeeter sx180

-Yamaha 115

-46 lbs thrust motorguide tm

-2 Garmin graphs with di, si, and gps

Both look to be in great shape from the pictures. Just wondering if anybody has had these boats and has any input as to which I should go with? Also is this price range a good deal for these boats? I just moved someplace where all the lakes are a pretty far drive so to save on gas and to make towing a bit easier I’m wanting to go with a little smaller boat. I do plan on fishing some tournaments though. I’m going to lake test both of them but they’re both located about 5 hours away from me so I would like to know as much as I can before making the drive. Any opinions, info, and advise is greatly appreciated!
