The Strike King Rage Tail Craw is my most effective jig trailer but it gets torn apart too easily. Are there more durable alternatives that have been as effective? I've been considering Zman Turbo Crawz and would appreciate any feedback from someone using this bait.

I use the yum f2 craw chunk as a jig trailer in place of the rage craw if I start running low on bank fishing trips. Not a fan of elaztech but the turbo craws look nice.

The new Yum Craw Pappi looks good. Are they durable. I have fish pull off the claws on my Rage Tail Craws

Ya got a choice to make

Do you want bass in your livewell or lures in your tackle box?

Ya can't have both!  ?

Exactly.   I've use Rage Tail  a lot.  Last week I went through two packs of Black/Blue Flake in 4 hours of catching bass.  I've tried others for various reasons but always go back...........

Used the Rage Tails since they came out, ain't gonna stop using them..

I depleted my supply of junebug on an outing last week and had to use some CrawPapi to finish out the day. I'm color blind and the closest thing I had as far as I could tell was their PBJ. I only boated two with them. I've used them in the past when the fish were pretty active, but when the bite is tough, it's RageTail time.

Berkley chigger craw has by far been my best producing craw for years.

Yum Christie Craw works well and the price is great on them too.

YUM Christie Craw is the closest thing I've found to the Rage Craw. Pretty durable, come in great colors, affordable, and you can buy them in 30 packs now :)

I'm partial to the Zoom UV Speed Craw but it looks like a smaller profile than the Rage Craw and maybe a little less kick.

I don’t care how much they are or what else works as good. I’m happy to buy a couple packs any time I see them. The green pumpkin purple seems to work best for me, but I’ve tried to force the blue sapphire just because I can’t walk past it.

Alternatives for the rage tail craw... How bout the rage tail bug ?!

Seriously tho, keitech has a craw/bug called the crazy flapper and is by far my most favorite thing keitech has to offer.  Not cheap or durable tho ? but a nice profile change and highly effective when they get conditoned to the rage craw at your spots. Trust a stranger on this one. Size 3.8, color doesn't matter.

The YUM Craw Chunk is by far my most productive jig trailer.  I'm probably partial because it caught my PB, but it's a very effective bait with great action at 3 bucks a pack.

I have had the Rage Bug outproduce the Rage Craw on a swinghead jig. I buy Strike King plastics more than any other brand but I've had the Keitech Crazy Flapper outproduce both!

For jig craws, I only use SKRT craws.   Tried some Christie and Papi craws, but I didn't feel the love like the Rage craws get.

There have been a number of days this summer, however, when they were preferring a Pit Boss/Sweet Beaver...so there may well be some other subtler, wider craws that would work well some days

You could try vilecraws.  Basically the same as rage crawls but they're my go to for chatterbait or jig trailer.

I don't have to change from RT craws. They key words in the question was "as effective"and "more durable".

I get equal success between rage craws, paca craws, and zoom super speed craws

Thx. I just ordered some Paca Craws to try. I've been hearing good things from a number of sources.

Just curious, what others have you tried?
