This year we had a lot of rain, which for the most part let up in early July. For the most part, weekends were clear enough to fish, and so were most weekdays after work when I had time -- despite all the rain, I don't think I ever had to entirely cancel a fishing trip! However, I couldn't get a single overcast day with rain coming in as it was time to pack it up, you know the days they absolutely hammer it along the shorelines but I did get a cooler day after a heatwave that yielded a similar effect recently. We have reservoirs still over 30' high here. Quote

BassNJake Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I'd throw a toad thru the grass and at the end of that lay down probably a popping frog too in the openings Might even have to flip a senko into the laydown. Id also wear camo and duck beneath that row of bushes in front so I wouldn't spook em 1 Quote
Super User Ratherbfishing Posted August 19, 2019 Super User Posted August 19, 2019 In June I would have thrown a fit because it was constantly raining and seemingly wouldn't stop. Now that it's middle August, we're in a drought and I'd throw a party. 1 Quote
