Harold Scoggins Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 The bite was good between 2 and 4 a.m., but I was soaked from the humidity. I wish you folks up north would send some cooler weather this way. 1 1 Quote
Super User JustJames Posted August 6, 2019 Super User Posted August 6, 2019 I wish I could go out all night fishing again, but more and more I’m afraid to use trebles hook lure especially at night. Quote

Then don't use trebles at night, I rarely do. Quote

Yeah, I converted most of my top water to in-line single hook. I plan to go out tomorrow night from sunset to midnight, will throw a lot of big wake bait and whopper plopper 130. After that gonna go for some crappies. Thx OP to remind me how much I miss night fishing so quiet and calm. My lake got quite a bit of wind every afternoon but die down at night. Too bad my fishing buddy not here to enjoy it with me. 2 Quote
