Oledog Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 I have been scouring the internet , trying to find a post on changing the rear treble hooks on the pompadour Jr . So far no success. Has any one here done it ? If so , did you use a snap ring ? What were the results . Quote
Junger Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 I took some pliers and just barely opened the ring to add a new hook, then closed the eye with pliers again. If I have to change it again, I'll probably just add a split ring to it instead of opening/closing the eye. Quote

I have concerns though that it will up the the prop. I guess I'll find out change it when I do it . Quote

This post made me think why i havent tied it on yet this year so this morning i decide it to toss it for 5 minutes before work. even 1lbers shotgun blast it so hard! 1 Quote
Maico1 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 They come with #5 hooks which were replaced with #4's, front hook has a split ring so it was just a matter of opening the eye on the rear just enough to swap out....used Owner 36's . Quote
