Super User Angry John Posted August 15, 2019 Super User Posted August 15, 2019 The average bait in the glide big bait game is a hundred bucks. The Doughnut and a pizz drift are very common Quote
Super User WRB Posted August 16, 2019 Super User Posted August 16, 2019 Single jointed wooden bass and musky lures date back into the early 1900's and meet todays glide bait definition. R2Sea S-Waver isn't defined as a glide by the maker? S-Waver was the 1st domestic bass lure called a glide bait by anglers. Deps 175 was the 1st Japanese glide bait and Butch Brown never called it glide, he discribes it as a swimbait because it is. Confusing, it's gotten to the point bass fishing terms have so many definitions it's almost impossible to communicate. ATB makes a soft glide bait for example. Tom 1 Quote

Tom As someone who fished a lot of muskie baits that's what drew me towards these big swimbaits and glidebaits - they look so much better than the lures of old. Also, the names have definitely become convoluted....what's a Suick Believer? A lipless crank? Lol Quote

Jointed Pikie was make in a musky size, my 1st big jointed lure. The Suick is the closet action to what is being called a glide but it's a 1 piece wooden lure. Tom Quote

I actually have 1 of the 3D Shine Glides myself but if this Lucky Craft does almost as good the penny pincher in me is going to say "I can get 2 of the LC for the price of 1 Shine Glide" . Quote

I wish I had deep pockets. The penny pincher in me says "Buy once, cry once". I've owned glides that run upwards of 2 bills and the Shine Glide rivals them in performance and the profile matches a big shad so good that it just really seems to attract the big bites, which is kind of the whole point of throwing one. 4 Quote
