BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 2, 2019 BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 2, 2019 Please help me welcome back Sure-Life Laboratories to BassResource! Anyone that's been here awhile will remember Sure-Life and their terrific livewell additives that help keep fish alive. Not only that, but the're incredibly helpful by providing accurate fish care information, and dispelling some of the myths out there. Tony - who created Sure-Life and its products - is an avid tournament angler, and is committed to preserving the resource. You can sense this commitment in his posts, and when you talk to him. Please check out these two products (Both work great with oxygenators): Catch and Release Formula: for excellent fish care in the livewell. It contains mild sedatives to calm the fish, as well as anti-bacterial agents to reduce infections, encourage slime coat production, and a hose of other good stuff! Please Release Me: for treating bleeding and injured fish. This helps stop bleeding, prevents infections, and improves the health of the fish. Think of it as "first aid" for bass! I use both diligently and am happy to report I haven't had to weigh in any dead fish as a result. I'm delighted to have Sure-Life back again! 5 Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 3, 2019 Global Moderator Posted August 3, 2019 Welcome back! I've used their products when I fished for flatheads a lot to keep my bait alive driving to the river, great product ? Quote
je1946 Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I don't tournament fish but I strongly support anything that helps the health and well being of caught and injured bass. 2 Quote
Super User WRB Posted August 3, 2019 Super User Posted August 3, 2019 Back in the late 80's early 90's Western and American Bass tournaments handed out Catch & Release to every tournament boat to put into the livewells, that how I was introduced to the product. Tom Quote

I use to use this stuff back when I used a bass boat, but with a kayak I just turn those bleeding bass loose and hope for the best. I have to figure out a way to use this stuff again, but on a kayak. Weigh-in bag maybe? Throw an oxygen tab in the bag and hang it off the side long enough to treat the fish? Quote
