JediAmoeba Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Anyone see this guy? I am intrigued and trying to think if this may replace the feathered treble on some of the jerkbaits depending on the weight. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 2, 2019 Global Moderator Posted August 2, 2019 It's an interesting idea. I'd like to see it on the back of a moving bait like a squarebill or trap. I could see it being really good on the back of a wake bait or floating minnow too. 1 Quote
Nicholas Smith Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I think that it could be good for jerkbaits. If the hook/blade wheights a bit it could make the jerkbait have a nose up position on the pause, and flash of course. Quote
Super User webertime Posted August 2, 2019 Super User Posted August 2, 2019 The blade spinning will cause drag and reduce the width of the wobble. Also causes lift so it will change angles of the bait during retrieve. Seems like it would be a great addition to some baits and totally mess up others... now to find out which is which. 1 Quote
JediAmoeba Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 I see a lot of applications for it but fall jerkbaits in semi murky water is what initially piqued my interest. Quote
Brett's_daddy Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 I'm thinking this treble would only be good on a moving bait personally...something that keeps that spinner spinning on a constant retrieve like a crankbait. Quote
