Super User J Francho Posted August 2, 2019 Super User Posted August 2, 2019 I had Siebert Outdoors make me a little, puffball jig with a trailer made of living rubber. Worked great without a trailer. I bet Mike would make you the same thing if you ask. They were no more than his regular jigs. 1 Quote

Five bucks a pop for something I lose a lot of is kinda discouraging. 28 minutes ago, J Francho said: I had Siebert Outdoors make me a little, puffball jig with a trailer made of living rubber. I'll be sure so see what they can whip up next time I'm stocking up. Their spinnerbaits look pretty sweet too so that's another plus. Quote

They are fantastic jigs. Not just because they are a great price, but they catch tons of fish. If you want them to last for over 50 fish wire tie the skirt on after you get them. I always do it and they last for a very long time. I have an old post that I showed a jig that was beat to hell, with over 50 fish caught on it. One of my favorites. 1 Quote

papajoe222 Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 A tungsten jig head is smaller than a lead one of the same weight. Combined with a shorter skirt, it will give you a smaller profile while not sacrificing weight. Add a short trailer with a lot of action, like the business end of a RageTail Craw and you can alter the fall rate. Quote
