Fishing under a well lit up bridge over the Delaware River at 10 pm. Snagged. No  Snag slowly & steadily moves anywhere it wants to. 15 ? minutes I put my whole hand into a huge Striped Bass mouthto get the lure out. My biggest bass to date.

I’ve yet to catch a bass under 4”. And I never catch a bass on crankbait, shallow/lipless.

Now the thing I accomplished this year is catching a lot of bass on jig and catch a whole bunch of crappies.

I've never caught a bass deeper than 10 foot...

I've never used or owned electronics to any measurable degree and I'd like to stop being a "bank beater". I'd like to become decent at deep weed edge and ledge fishing. I'd like to be able to use electronics to the point where I can proficiently locate bass and tell someone without a doubt "that's bass down there on some brush/tree/structure, let's waypoint that and do some casting and pull em out of there" and have it actually happen.

I guess the first step to achieving this goal would be to get some electronics. Or maybe a boat. Don't really feel like putting electronics on my kayak.

Electronics are all kinds of fun. Even if you don't have them experiment in deep water with a big Shakey head or Texas rig. Just drag it on bottom somewhere between 15 and 25 feet. The anticipation when setting the hook on a deep fish is quite exhilarating

Tarpon on a fly. Had a follow once but couldn't get them to commit.

Once they commit you still won't land them! Haha

I'd like to bass fish in Mexico, but something tells me I'd need to requalify on the M16 first.

May depend on where you go & how you get there.

While I shoot & rate the "E" - never felt like I needed it while I was there.

Fishing decent too.

You ever make it up to Seattle on an odd year like this year in the summer and I’ll get you into some pinks and cohos (aka silvers). Salmonids are king in my neck of the woods, lol.

A big thank you to you.

Love my bass fishing. I'm not in the bass capitol of the country by any means but do have both smallmouth and largemouths fairly close to me in local lakes and rivers.

I had King Salmon on my Bucket List. Well I went and we killed them, went again to get it all the way off my bucket list and slaughtered them again. So I have the Salmon Bug. The fight is unreal. I need to do the west coast salmon next. Hope to do as well.

I've yet to experience riding in a bass boat with anything higher than a 75 hp motor.

Every lake within 2 hours has motor restrictions, everything within 30 minutes is electric only.

Current target goal is a muskie on a fly.

I am going to dream big on this one - would like to catch a bass with Xanthism.

Rarest of the rare bass.

I think 20lb LM bass are more common than these things.

I only have two things left on my fishing bucket list. A fishing trip to Canada and being around to see my great grand child (children) catch their first fish.

When my daughter started catching hundreds ? of perch 1 day in my boat. She did not want to stop for lunch. My genes .  ?               Thankfully she realized I was a Abby Normal person. She is married to a fantastic fisherman. I am very lucky to have Vinnie as a Son In Law.

Except, just like when I hunted, I only target thing's I'll eat...and I don't like catfish.

All you've gotta do is get some dry ice and ship the fillets to my front step!

Although I haven't eaten an 8+ lb fish in quite some time . Striper salmon and halibut are the only ones that come to mind

I have never won a tournament on my home lake with all smallmouth. I have won multiple times with mixed smallmouth and largemouth bags, and plenty with all largemouth bags.

Catch a 30-pound sack or a double-digit bass. Likely have to travel out of South Canada to get the 30 sack. The DD bass is not gonna happen up here.

I thought I heard tale of 30+ bags from Simcoe

Double digit LMB (close but no cigar) and never fly fished.  It scares the crap outta me.  Afraid I'll like it too much.  I got enough money wrapped in bass gear.  Fly gear is REAL money.

Never caught a bass of any make or model, over 4lbs on spinning gear.
