Alright guys and gals. If you’re willing to admit it, whether it’s embarrassing or not, tell us what you have yet to do in fishing.

This excludes lures so saying something like, “I’ve never caught a bass on a jig,” has already been done. So none of these examples of never ever or yet to accomplish.

This is mine...

I have yet to catch a fish, any species, in winter. I’ve caught fish in December, but dad gummit, most of December is technically still autumn. ?

To land a bass 15lbs or better. Bet there's going to be a few folks that would answer along the same line..

Catch a bass over 8 pounds in Kansas. I've caught bigger ones elsewhere, but I've never been able to break that mark in my home state. I've come as close at 7lbs 14ozs, caught several more over 7, caught one with plenty of length but just not enough girth (24.5"X14"), I just can't get the elusive 8.

I have never caught a small mouth bass!!

I don't care much about not catching a spot or any other type.

Just one small mouth and I'm a happy man.

Come north.  We'll get you a walleye, too.

You won’t be happy just catching one. After that, you’ll want a lot more!

I’ve yet to catch a smallmouth out of a lake. Hopefully that’ll end soon but they’re not making it easy.

1. Catch a double digit bass

2. Catch a smallmouth.  Planning a trip next year to hopefully accomplish this one.

Never caught a smallmouth, walleye, pike or musky, hoping to change that this summer...also never caught anything on a fly rod, also something I thoroughly intend on rectifying this summer with a day trip with a guide, hard part for the other 4 is figuring out how to fish for them, every time I wet a line I end up with a largemouth on the line lol

I don't know exactly where to go. But one of these days I hope to do just that.

I have never caught a striper.

I have never caught a double digit bass but I really doubt that will ever happen in Pa.

I have never caught a carp - I have gear to try for them but I have to make a concerted effort to go.

I havent caught a DD, but unless I make an effort to go to a state to fish where it's possible, that will never happen.

I haven't caught a bass through the ice. I really want to, but the winter and cold and snow and ice turns me into a prepubescent little girl, and I have the patience of a baked potato.

I've never caught a bass deeper than 10 foot...

I've never used or owned electronics to any measurable degree and I'd like to stop being a "bank beater". I'd like to become decent at deep weed edge and ledge fishing. I'd like to be able to use electronics to the point where I can proficiently locate bass and tell someone without a doubt "that's bass down there on some brush/tree/structure, let's waypoint that and do some casting and pull em out of there" and have it actually happen.

I guess the first step to achieving this goal would be to get some electronics. Or maybe a boat. Don't really feel like putting electronics on my kayak.

Win a tournament, bass or otherwise.  I placed 2nd in a pretty large local ice tournament two winters ago.

I haven't even fished a bass tournament, as there are very few nearby.  So just participating in one for bass would be an accomplishment in itself for me.

I too am chasing the double digit bass.

3 trips a year to Chickamauga and I'm confident I'll get one in the next 20 years.

However, I'll never forget the time my tourney partner landed a double on a spook.

It was the most crazy blowup where there was a tail slap just as the smallie launched out of the water to get the spook on the way down. He sets the hook and screams its a giant, fights it for awhile and I get them in the net.

One smallie and a large mouth both right at 3 pounds.

He then said, good luck topping that

Ice fishing is great!

I sincerely hope all you fine folks meet and even exceed all of these.

I am going to just keep fishing and see what happens.

Susquehanna River or upper Delaware river are great for scenery.
