Started fishing again after 6 years. So i'm crazy happy.

I unboxed my rods and reels and they were spooled from when I boxed em up. Mostly PowerPro (30lb - 60lb) with either Fluorocarbon or Mono leaders.

Should I respool all 12 reels?

Is the line on my old spools still good?

Is the line that's still in its  original packaging still good?

The braid should be good, thecFC depends on how it was stored; cool and place should be OK butvI test it by tieing knots and snap pulling to check impact strength.

I would respool everything and test the"new" line you have in their original packaging.
