Skunkd Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 Just picked up a Kistler Helium 3 MH 6'9" XF. It'll be a kayak rod pretty much 100%. Don't want to take any chances with high sticking though I'm usually pretty careful. Need a decent net but not sure about length? Will be stowed somewhere on the deck of my Hobie Outback so I'd like to keep it as compact as possible while not sacrificing function. Any suggestions appreciated. Thx T Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted July 17, 2019 Super User Posted July 17, 2019 My latest catches were with my 6'6" Aird-X...I don't like high sticking either, but pulling my left arm back allowed me to net-land both from my canoe with a net that has a 9" handle. Stop in a store, check out the nets and see what you can work with in 'on site' testing...that's what I did. Quote
