new for icast 2019 this will be so awesome, hopefully like the classic MBR and SJR IMX rods of the 90s and early 2000s

 

now if only they weren't $435 up here in Canada....

Agreed. Price is high, even higher in Canadian money

It’s good to see them coming back, especially the CR models, but the msrp on the Pros is so high that it puts you in striking distance of the GLX versions.

Totally agree....but with the IMX you get a standard universally comfortable Fuji reel seat. I don’t hate the seat on my GLX for casting, but for pitching I have to change my grip.

I have a couple of imx-pros and have been impressed.  I do feel they are a little over priced, but nobody pays retail, so I dont care so much.

agreed and you also can get 7'6 lengths in the MBR version and SJR version which you can't get in the current GLX versions. I like the extra length big time.

Didn’t even that of that, that does make them more appealing as I am also not a 100% fan of the GLX

seats.
