Super User Sam Posted July 8, 2019 Super User Posted July 8, 2019 Which way will it go? No one knows, even the Shadow doesn't know. Should know by this coming Wednesday or Thursday as to what prevailing winds win: northern ones or western ones will guide the storm inland. Hold on Catt!!!!! Quote

There is record breaking flooding right now in many states and it does not seem to be getting better anytime soon. Every year Northern states have to deal with +6 months of bitter cold weather, hardwater, snow, and gloomy skies. No matter where you live the weather can affect you so it is best to prepare for any nasty weather that comes. Quote

Super User Koz Posted July 14, 2019 Super User Posted July 14, 2019 One of the benefits of my move this past week is not having to deal with hurricanes anymore. By the time they get this far inland they'll be tropical storms (Survived a number of those as well). Over the past few years or so we evacuated for two hurricanes and rode out one more. I won't say never again, but I'm glad for the respite. Quote

Memphis should do OK. Could be some good fishing when the rivers and lakes have all the new water available to the fish. Be safe and glad to read all is going to be OK in Memphis, home of Kotler pest control company and my cousins who are retired now. Uncle Lou Kotler. What a guy. You would have loved him if you met him. Quote
