FrankN209 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 I bought a couple of these about two weeks ago. Not really impressed with them. Not a lot of vibration. Wants to helicopter like a spinnerbait in the wind. I don't think they are worth the 8.00. Quote
Super User gim Posted July 9, 2019 Super User Posted July 9, 2019 I bought one on sale this spring. Haven’t caught a fish on it yet but I also haven’t given it a lot of time either. Quote
Revival Posted July 9, 2019 Posted July 9, 2019 My friend purchased two different colors. Caught one on his 2nd cast fishing from the bank. I personally haven’t tried it yet. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted July 9, 2019 Super User Posted July 9, 2019 I got one. No reason for a second one. Cannot hold a candle to @Siebert Outdoors Fogy, nor to @Bluebasser86 custom. That is not exactly saying anything, because none really can. Jackhammer, maybe, but not when I take cost into account. Skip the Shudder and get a Fogy 2 1 Quote

Skip the Shudder and get a Fogy *I am going to buy & try the Fogy soon - I saw from ICAST news that one of the big companies is introducing a chatterbait with a football head (like the Fogy) soon ... I'd rather buy the Siebert Outdoors product and support a sponsor ! 1 Quote
FishingGeekTX Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 I just had a good experience with Siebert Outdoors, someone posted they had a July 4th sale. For people who fret over "perfection", it's worth looking at because you can customize exactly what you want, at what seems to be a lower cost than off the shelf lures. I got some jigs rigged up there to my liking (oddball colors), and that football/bladed (fogy) does look nice. I rigged some up, haven't fished them yet. The Grid Iron head looks like a combination football with a flat bottom side for help standing up, but retaining the football resistance to getting stuck. Intriguing as well. Since I won't be fishing as much this summer, I suspect I'll be tinkering with combos from their store just because monkeys and stuff. I'l go into Fall with a mountain of jigs I suspect ? 1 Quote
