billmac Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 I'm not quite ready to splurge on a navionics card for my fishfinder yet. Is getting navionics on my phone worthwhile? It's not very expensive and at least I'd have some mapping. Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted July 4, 2019 Super User Posted July 4, 2019 I looked at the various mapping apps for phone/tablet. Went with I-Boating's app. Half the price of Navonics and includes waypoints and trip saver. Check it out. Quote
Jleebesaw Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 I have it on my phone for ice fishing. Works well. It's the exact same image as the navionics on my boat so i like it. Quote
Super User NHBull Posted July 7, 2019 Super User Posted July 7, 2019 I have it and love it. I also have it in my Garmins. Quote
StretcherJockey Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 I’ve been using Humminbird’s FishSmart app. You have to purchase individual lakes but I’ve been very pleased. I prefer the Lakemaster maps over Navionics to begin with though so I may be biased. Quote
Mike Boitnott Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 I use my Navionics App. everyday either for work at the Marina on Lake Anna or just to search out interesting spots for my next outing. I really like that I can Sync it with my Lowrance and have places I've marked on both. Also use the depth shading feature all the time especially now in the summer heat searching for cover such as docks that are in a little deeper water. Would highly recommend it! <>< Quote
