bitsandbass Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Can someone please help me classify the Sticko durability? I havent used them before. Thanks. Durability: Senkos = very poor Sticko = ??? YUM = very good Sink rate: Senkos = fast Sticko = fast YUM = slow Cost: Senkos = 88c each Sticko = 37c each YUM = 31c each Wobble: Senkos = very good Sticko = very good YUM = fair Quote
FishingGeekTX Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I'm curious too. I replaced a pack of Senkos with them in my day box, because Senko's disintegrate as a hook enters them, it's absurd. I'll open them up tonight and rig one up if we don't hear anything Quote
OnthePotomac Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I have fished the Stick O on occasion in the past and found them to be pretty durable. They are not as soft as the Senko, but for the most part, did a good job catching fish. I like to worm fish on a bait caster with weightless worms (I know that is not correct) and therefore find the Dinger a little light. The Stick O zings out there like a Senko weightless on a bait caster. Quote
Black Hawk Basser Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I have a load of Stick-O's that I bought as a kit years ago. I use them often and rarely have bought Senkos. I feel like they are just as durable as YUM. I've easily landed several fish with one BPS bait. I'd say I lose them to jumping bass more often than having to throw them in the trash. Quote
ike8120 Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 The Yum dingers seem to hold up better then the GYS. Just my opinion. Quote
r83srock Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 I fish dingers and stick-os and I feel they are basically the same. Durability is good and they both catch plenty of fish. I feel the Gander brand may be rebranded yums and a good value too. I’m still using wave worms and senkos purchased years ago in insane quantities(think dooms day preparation) and use those on derby days. Those both are for sure softer and less durable, with wave worms being the softest, but they catch em when the others won’t. Quote
