xxmurrxx Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 I just bought a boat, I have a fishfinder already so im looking for a gps that supports pre loaded marine charts on sd card. Not looking to spend a crazy amount, If you know of any please let me know. Also could you put the sd marine charts into a normal gps that supports sd cards? Thanks. Quote
Team_Dougherty Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 You can put SD card marine maps in any gps that supports them. Navionics is one supplier. GPS like magellan can only read magellan maps. Lowrance, Humminbird and others can read the Navionics. You just have to see what GPS equipment has compatible maps for the area you fish. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 3, 2008 Super User Posted July 3, 2008 I agree with Olebiker. Mr. Mike! Nice to hear from you, buddy. Have you been catching any fish or having some fun? Send me a PM when you have time. Maybe we can get together on the White River this fall. -Kent 8-) Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted July 3, 2008 Super User Posted July 3, 2008 Wow Kent, are you allowed to be my friend again? I would send you a PM but you and I know that you don't respond. Quote
xxmurrxx Posted July 3, 2008 Author Posted July 3, 2008 Thanks, The H20 looks solid. I have a question though, Is the colour version worth the extra $100 compared to the gray scale? Quote
