tander Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 After all these years and new baits to come out, I still use the old Smithwick Rogue, cheap and catches fish. Quote
smithy97 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Love the Megabass 110's, 110+1, 110+2, and junior. A very underrated bait is the Duo Realis 110sp and the 100DR. These are suspending jerk baits, with very high build quality, durability, awesome paint jobs and quality hooks. They aren't expensive for a good JDM bait. Check those out. The green smelt colour is money. Quote

928JLH Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Mostly threw them around shallow wood back in late December. Stopped buying luckycraft because they were all floating. Huge fan of the IMA flit jerkbaits. All 8 suspended perfectly out of package this year and caught lots of fish. Did really well with Duo Realis jerkbaits. My only con is the weight transfer ball system sticks sometimes creating an action I don't like. I don't like my jerkbait to suspend nose up either. They do cast far though. Quote
Super User OkobojiEagle Posted July 7, 2019 Super User Posted July 7, 2019 I haven't been fishing the skinny cutter as much (at all) this season. Without a weight transfer system they flail on many casts and foul the hooks in the line. oe Quote
