Put 1 ⎌reel on 1 rod and  1reel on the other rod and go fishing. If you don't like the combo switch the reels.

If you can't make a simple decision don't ask others to do it for you.

No, that would make sense. Make a vlog and have your Patreons vote on it and decide. Old guys, I tell ya, with that life experience crap.... :)

Tom has a good point and he knows what he's talking about. Try both combinations.

I would try the duckett reel on the frog rod first because it has more line capacity than the PQ. Use it with heavier line for frogs and heavy jigs.

Put the PQ on the 6'6" MH for jigs, texas rigs, everything else...

If you don't like it switch. Either combo will work just fine.

Don't worry too much about doing everything optimally like the equipment manufacturers have us believing we need too. We all tend to overthink this stuff. That's how I ended up with 15 rods/reels. I use 3 of these setups most of the time. LOL! d**n you bait monkey!

With your 2 setups, you are covered for so many techniques. Just go fish and have fun! Winter will be here sooner than we think...

Thank you, I guess yesterday I wasn't thinking when I posted because I want to put some heavy braid on the reel going with the top water rod and either light braid or straight mono with the reel with the short rod. Im looking to use frogs, toads, and possibly buzz baits, whopper ploppers, and spooks. Im looking to use the shorter rod when ever I need another texas rig rod, or when Im in my yak or just want a short multi-purpose rod. Its also way to late in the year for this and Im taking my boat out Sunday so I really don't feel like taking the line off and respooling each. Thank you for your time and have a nice day!

My bad, above is why it wasn't exactly that "simple". Sorry I don't know what I was thinking the other day when I posted. I guess I just forgot? ? sorry
