Well somehow the dog toy ended up amongst all 3 dogs and one of them was asleep. So they all started fighting and my dumb$&@ belly flopped into the middle of it all. Dogs fight very well, won’t do that again. After I realized I wasn’t going to be able to pry them apart, I remembered they are terrified of the broom. Had it not been for that broom I might have ended up in the ER! Haha. One of them was biting the heck out of my left hand, it’s throbbing

I have a scar on my right hand from when I tried to break up a dog fight by grabbing one of them.  It's one of those mistakes you only make once.  I did end up in the ER about 10 hours later and they gave me an antibiotic in an IV.  Infections in the hand are very bad news.  There are so many bones and tendons in your hand that once an infection gets established it's hard to get rid of it.  I would recommend you call your doctor or go to immediate care and get some antibiotics.  Better to be safe than sorry.

my girlfriend's friend is obsessed with rescuing dogs and she works at a hospital so hopefully she can help me if need be.

Hope you don't loose any fishing time because of this.  I chuckled at your comment about dogs fighting very well. I've had my share of play fights with dogs that make you think they're not that good.  Then when one that's serious get's hold of you you realize just how good they are.  They are fast and have very strong jaws.

I'm going this evening with some Limblines for catfish, I told my buddy my left hand was at 60 percent haha. We would all be dead if our dogs wanted us to be! I think they could take down Ali and Marciano

Oh crap, I better unpack. I was just climbing in my truck to relocate to Tennessee to work construction at the lake houses and have multiple girlfriends. Was gonna see if you'd be my partner? :D

Sorry I couldn't "Like" your post, but for some reason that feature is disabled on my end. Matter of fact, you can't even see it.

Anyway, hopefully your hand is free of infection.

My wife rescued a female Pug, we only have two now. She is a feisty little thing. Pugs usually are like that but she has her moments where she’ll flip out on our male Pug and even my Great Pyrenees! She doesn’t on any human at all, but other dogs she can be crazy. I broke her and the male Pug up and I got my finger bit by one of them. Didn’t break skin but man was it sore for days.

If my GP ever got into it (never would he’s a big baby) there would be nothing I could do.

I think the one that chomped me was our 1/2 pyranese, the one on the right

Run the vacuum into the middle of them next time. My dogs will try to run through the wall if I run the vacuum at them.

I had an Afghan Hound that was a beast.  Afghans, besides their "girly" appearance are hunting dogs naturally (sight hounds) and 2 of them can bring down and kill a snow leopard.  Their long hair is designed to mat up and protect them in their native environment.  They have 3 times the jaw strength of a German Shepard and twice that of a Doberman.  Top that off with the fact that they have been domesticated for a much shorter time that most all other breeds and you have a dog that needs a very knowledgeable owner.  When I lived on the farm he was fond of running down and killing coyotes and anything else that came around.  When I moved back to the city, he spent a lot of time in the dog pound because people would not leave him alone inside his fenced yard despite all of the signs warning them.  I would have rather had a pit bull turn on me rather than that dog.  Thank heavens he never did.

The vaccumne should do it, when the misses turns it on my dog and six cats scatter.
