Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 10, 2019 Super User Posted June 10, 2019 I haven't bent wire in a while, used to make inline spinners and such, but I was finding bass in lily pads and wanted something to keep the bullet weight from sliding up and came up with these: I always use a barrel swivel bait keeper but couldn't use here so I came up with this: and The clip was based on the parasite clip and as you can see it has some kinks in it from bending and rebending to get the right size. I'll use as a prototype and will make a few more. Definitely rusty with my wire bending technique after a few years of inactivity, but it's coming back to me. 3 Quote

Super User Jigfishn10 Posted June 13, 2019 Author Super User Posted June 13, 2019 Redesigned the rig and clip system. I took out the wire twist at the line tie and formed a loop only with the tag end sliding down the bullet weight. I felt as though the twisted wire at the line tie was a pond snot magnet. The clip has been totally redesigned to a simpler design. Less likely to pick up vegetation. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic. Will post later. Getting my wire bending mojo back. May be looking to do some spinners again for the fall season. 1 Quote
