Trappernewt Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I’ve used braid to leader for jig fishing 95% of the time. But the more I read and the more folks I talk to it seems like more people use just straight braid. So I thought I’d ask the fine folks at Bass Resource what their opinions are. If I don’t need to waste the time and energy tying leaders I def don’t want to. Quote
PourMyOwn Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I only throw jigs with straight braid in vegetation, and I put a drop of super glue on the knot just in case. 1 Quote
bunz559 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 Probably really depends on the type of waters you're fishing in. The main lakes I fish are deep reservoirs in California. Some with clearer waters. Braid to leader is how I fish jigs 99.9% of the time. The other .01%, I fish straight braid when I go to the Cal Delta. Quote

Super User jbsoonerfan Posted June 7, 2019 Super User Posted June 7, 2019 As Snoop Dogg would say: Straight braid homie 2 Quote
