BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted June 4, 2019 BassResource.com Administrator Posted June 4, 2019 With so many companies opting to manufacture their products overseas, it's refreshing to see a major company like YUM make everything in America.... 20 Quote
MartinTheFisherman Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 They also have great customer service! Quote
Chance_Taker4 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 I really enjoy using Yum products. Their prices are great and products are awesome. Quote
FishinBuck07 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Wow thanks for posting this, I didn't realize that Yum made everything here. I already use plenty of their products, but now I will be using more. Quote
Hook2Jaw Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Excuse my goofy tongue out. That big girl did not excuse the YUM Craw Chunk. 3 Quote
Elkins45 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 It doesn’t hurt that they also seem to underprice the competition fairly often, 1 Quote

Arobb2012 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 I didn't think they made their products in the us with the price point they keep. I'm definitely going to buy more of their stuff now. Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted June 5, 2019 Super User Posted June 5, 2019 I may have to check out their products again. I bought some Yum baits probably 20 years ago and never caught anything on any of them. I never bought anymore and the ones I tried I believe they quit making. Probably 95% of my soft plastics now are Zoom. Quote
haggard Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 A Texas rigged 4" Yum Dinger caught my first fish, a smallmouth. When my son wanted to try fishing, I set him up with a Texas rigged 4" Yum Dinger. Caught his first fish, a smallmouth. Bonus points: Made in the USA 7 hours ago, Hook2Jaw said: Excuse my goofy tongue out. That big girl did not excuse the YUM Craw Chunk. If you get a bass that big, you don't have to apologize for the tongue hang. 1 Quote
CountryboyinDC Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 They make my favorite hollow paddle tail swimbait (Money Minnow). My brother uses nothing but a pumpkin with chartuse tail Dinger on the upper James River. I didn't know everything was made in USA, but I'll have to look over the offerings again. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 5, 2019 Global Moderator Posted June 5, 2019 I was just rigging up rods this morning for a trip Thursday. Tipped my jig with my trusted green pumpkin Christie Craw, put a weightless black Dinger on to follow up any misses I might have on my topwaters, and put a green pumpkin Genie Worm on a bubba shot for pitching into the trees. One of my favorite plastic makers for sure, and the fact that they're make in the USA is a big bonus. 1 Quote
ike8120 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 Glad to see products made in the US. I have purchased some Yum Dingers and I do like them. Also like buying from some of our sponsors that make products in the US. Quote
Harold Scoggins Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 They use to make a twin tail lizard that I really like and wish they'd bring back. I still have a few bags left. I guess the Christie Critter took its place. Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted June 6, 2019 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted June 6, 2019 fyi - those are definitely NOT actors in the video. I've met some of them. They really are who they say they are. There's even a few cameo appearances by some of the upper managers. Cool vid. All authentic...very genuine. 1 Quote
Bassin' Brad Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Thanks for sharing this! Makes me want to buy more YUM. Quality, good price, and MADE IN AMERICA?? Quote
Mbirdsley Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I have really been liking yum products this year. Christie critter, yum dinger, and one of the craws ( can’t remember right now ). Price is good too Quote
Dorado Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Craw Papi 2.75” is one of my favorite jig trailers, especially on a Sk Bitsy Bug 2 Quote
r83srock Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I am in manufacturing, and I love it! I can very much appreciate this video, and understand the heart it takes to make something. I started using Riverside by Yum when I was too poor to buy anything else, and was beating the banks from a bike. Now I use yum dingers by the boat load. I want to try their frog and christie craw too. Thanks for sharing. Quote
LuffDaddy Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I can't agree more, Glenn. i was disappointed when i saw googans are made in china Quote

4reelfishing Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 My main two soft plastics are Yum Dingers and Yum Christie Craws. Quote
hoosierbass07 Posted June 9, 2019 Posted June 9, 2019 Yum-Dinger Junbug is my number one lure of all time. Always have those things with me: kayak fishing, john boat fishing or bank fishing, always have my number one bass catcher lure with me. Quote
