Was at my BPS today and saw that the Sizmic popN toads were on an awsome sale. 2 bags for 5 dollars and it came with 2bags of hooks as well. So I picked up 4. I never used them before so i dont know much about them. I bought them becasue of the crazy sale. Anyone know if these work well?? how should i work these???

i have not used the "Popp'n" toad, but have used the regular Sizmic Toad a lot.  I think with the popp'n toad you work it like a top water popper, or you can also swim it on top like a buzz bait.  The legs give very nice action.

I think Rolo uses the sizmic poppin' toads.  Do a search on his name and the word sizmic over the last three months and you'll  find something about it.  Or you could PM him.  I haven't used them, myself.

Senile1 is correct, I've used the sizmic pop-n toad and like it a lot.

They can be made to pop or spit just as effectively as the chug bug, but at a fraction of the price.

Best of all, they're weedless and can be pitched anywhere. They don't leave us many reasons to hate them ;)

I like that they float, because it lets you work them slow while still keeping them on top of the water.  With a lot of other soft plastic frogs you have to crank super fast to keep it up there.  The only thing I didn't like about the pop'n toads is that they're pretty light and harder to cast weightless with bc gear than some of the other frogs.

I used a brown and chartruese popn toad when fishing with stansdwarf at lake placid which is near Itsotpoga, one of Rolo's playgrounds.  I didn't catch anyting with it, but was impressed with the moves.  I too, like the fact that it floats and spits water while being weedless.  I think it's a winner.
