You better have the biggest & best electric water pump in the bottom of the boat.  You will need it.

If you plan on insuring the boat - they might disallow claims if you're running a motor with higher HP than what the plate says.

HP has been lowered on a number of hulls

 

My F-9 was originally rated to 35hp - the V-14 is the same basic hull but is only rated to 25hp.
