For me, I would have to say a Chatterbait with a trailer. I am a big fan of the natural colors like Bluegill and Green Pumpkin with a natural trailer like Green Pumpkin.

Since this thread popped back up almost a year later, mine has completely changed. I have flat wore them out and always pick up now a wacky rigged, junebug GY 5" senko on 7'3 spinning combo. Big or small bass, man it catches em!

Favorite is a spinnerbait but the one I go to if I have to catch something is a finesse jig.

I'll gladly share my favorite lure, but I don't have any favorite fishing spots should you ask.  Swim jig, color and trailer vary.  Right now my favorite comes from Santone, but I bought some new Siebert's with 4/0 hooks.  I really like the colors, can't wait to try them out.

Do I have to pick 1! Depending on the year, Bandit 100 will always get me bit! My favorite right now is the rage menace but it is tenuous. The reason I would ultimately say the Bandit, is because baits like the spicy beaver has been as effective as the menace for me. No crank has come close to touching the Bandit at sticking bass for me.

100% strike king red eye Shad. I have great luck on these throughout the whole year. They’ve helped me catch a a couple of my bigger bass (specifically a 7ib and and 7.5 iber). My favorite colors are red craw chart. Fire tiger, any chrome/reflective colors and of course the classic sexy shad (chrome or normal works).

#4 or #5 mepps gold or silver blade and yellow or white hair. catch 90% of my bass on this. believe that they feel the vibration of the big blade on their lateral line that attracts them. can also see the lure coming threw the water if it gets struck from behind. had a day i caught over 100 bass without changing my lure and 2 days later got over 75. few years after that i lost one that looked over 8lbs in the same spot but five minutes later caught one about that big.this is maine and those are big numbers in this state. also- they are liked  bye smallies around 5lbs also.
