Super User TOXIC Posted May 31, 2019 Super User Posted May 31, 2019 @riverbasser the OP asked for just 1 bait. With that condition, you naturally would go with a bait that has the highest probability to catch fish in the most varying conditions. It's hard to beat a Senko in that respect. Quote

BassNJake Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 I would say a toad bait, specifically the keitech noisy flapper. I can rig it weedless and toss it around any type of cover, docks, laydowns, rip rap .. .. ... I'll take a toad bite over 10 senko bites everyday, except tournament day Quote
Sam Janssen Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 KVD 1.5 in green gizzard shad or 1/2 ounce jig. Quote
bagofdonuts Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 I would, but my favorite lure changes weekly. 2 Quote
gilkeybr Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 If I wanted a lure that would work in almost any condition, it would have to be either a stick bait (Senko) or a 1/2oz spinnerbait. Both can be fished effectively through moderate amounts of weeds, and are proven fish catchers. Quote
Super User Deleted account Posted May 31, 2019 Super User Posted May 31, 2019 Favorite, a popper and spinnerbait. Most productive, plastic something or other. Totally agree with above that where and when is going to determine what I start with and what's most productive. Quote
smr913 Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Spinnerbait for me. Burn it or slow roll it; fish it high or low in the water, lots of options with blade shape, size, and color depending on water clarity. Quote
crypt Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 first, baby 1-.........then a plastic worm..... 1 Quote
Russ E Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 the Super Fluke has been my favorite bait for 30 years. I use a lot of different baits. There are always six rigged and ready on the deck. nearly every trip the fluke sees some action. It has produced more quality Bass for me than all other baits combined. I fish it weightless shallow. Mojo rigged in mid depths. Carolina rigged in deeper water. Last year I caught my PB largemouth on a mojo rig with a Super fluke in the middle of summer. 2 Quote
Gorris317 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 T-rigged Berkley Pit Boss. You can flip it, swim it, or pop it. Purchased this bait on a whim two years ago and it has caught me a majority of my fish. I use to throw a Zoom lizard but that has taken a backseat to this lure. Quote
Super User Catt Posted June 1, 2019 Super User Posted June 1, 2019 Would anyone like to share their Favorite lure..... I'll show ya pictures but actually share... nah! ? 1 Quote
CroakHunter Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Magnum rage bug. Prefer to pitch it to cover. Quote
Muddy wolf Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Tequila sunrise 7 inch worm. Rigged about anyway. I like weightless. Quote
Vilas15 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 I'm really liking paddletail swimbaits lately, so versatile. A close second would be a rippin rap. Quote
Ksam1234 Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 My favorite lure to catch fish on is any topwater but mainly a frog ! I love frog blowups. Second would be a jerkbait. Quote
J.Vincent Posted June 1, 2019 Posted June 1, 2019 Favorite lure to catch them on: Walk The Dog Topwater, Frog and PropBaits Favorite Lure because it flat out catches a lot of bass: Spinnerbait, Lipless Crank and Tube Jig but these favorites change from year to year ! Quote
