I've been using Big Game on my baitcasters for years.  For the money it's a great line.  Having said that, I do find it to have too much memory for use on a spinning reel so on those I run Sufix Siege.

Hard to argue with everyone on Big Game for value. I think you could relabel a spool of it, putting a fancy Japanese name on it, call it copolymer, raise the price and people would buy it and rave about it even more....lol

I live and learn. I've had Sufix Advance on for 2 weeks now. Thought it was great. Thought it cast far, and it does. Thought it was abrasion resistance ... and it was at first. But today I noticed several places along the line where there were "frayed" sections. I haven't been around rocks but 2 days out of the 2 weeks. Kinda disappointed. I'll re-spool and see what happens next. Maybe I should have stuck with Big Game.       jj

Big game is good line especially for the money. I've used trilene XL for years but last cple years been buying bulk spools of the basspro excel mono for dirt cheap on sale and have nothing but positive things to say. As stated I dont think mono and low stretch goes together.  Most things I use it for I actually want some stretch like for small topwaters and small cranks.

Sunline Super Natural is my go to mono line. I used to love Sufix Elite but changed to the Sunline and haven't looked back.
