Size Hook For 3" Craw (Drop Shot)

I want to drop shot a 3" craw (Rage Baby Craw) and what is the best way size hook I should use?

Are you wanting to rig weedless? Or open hook?

I nosehook my dropshot baits and pick my hook size depending on how much "meat" I'll be hooking through to make sure it doesn't impede the barb.  I'd go at least a Size 2 for those rage craws.
