hey guys. i rent boats very often and i fish without a depth finder. i do have one though and i would like to start using it when i rent boats. can anyone tell me how i can do this. this includes how i can hook it up to the side of the boat (like some sort of clamp) and how i can hook up the transducer. remember it will be a rental so i dont want anything permanent just something for when i rent boats. thanks in advance

One of these brackets or a homemade similar one will work. Then just mount your head unit on piece of 2"X10"X 12" wood. Add some alligator clips to the power cord to clip on the trolling motor battery or a dry cell 12V battery.

A suction cup transducer mount works for some, but I haven't had satisfactory results on metal boat that way.
