So these two rods are close to the same price now depending on where you look. Did the Triad replace the Terex? I know you never see the Terex anymore. Which one was considered higher end when new? Thanks!

I don't have a triad I have three terex rods there a definite step up from ghost or silverados for sure.

if you look Sopro or ebay with Simmons sporting goods you can buy a terex for 100 bucks I think they were 149 first year they cam out

I too fish with a Terex, forget what I paid for it, have had it maybe 2yrs?

Great rod, it's 6'6 medium, I use it for topwater. I would buy another one. Can't offer anything on the Triad. I also own a Ghost and Micro Magic Pro. Again solid products.

I have both, they have a very different feel from each other, at least in my hands. I prefer the Terex over the Triad, but I prefer the Micro Magic Pro over both. They don’t make the terex anymore, if you shop around the MMP can be had for the same price as the Triads. The Triad yo me feels more true to it’s rating than the terex or micro magic.

I agree with that, I do prefer my MMP over the Terex, it does just have a better feel to it.

Seems like to me the micro eyes limit length of cast? Definitely an accurate stick for sure
