Hello guys. I wanted some advise about buying a spinning reel bit I'm in a budget. I plan to fish inshore in saltwater. I will mostly target fishes not greater than 3lb. I'm looking at two cheap spinning reels: Daiwa revros Lt and Okuma Ceymar Match ( cost around to 50$). Can anyone give me some advise which one would be the best? Any experience with this reels? Thanks

I’ve got an Abu Garcia silver max spinning reel that has been nothing short of perfect. Zeros issues for me and I’ve used it in fresh water at Toledo Bend and in brackish on the Sabine River. It’s usually $40ish at Walmart and sometimes cheaper on amazon and eBay. No experience with either one of those so I can’t really give my .02. Just wanted to give another option.

I'm a bit confuse about the 'Match' version of this reel. What does it meen? It is like the normal Ceymar or it is used for something specific?

Thanks for answering but I live in Europe, and don't have many option buying from amazon, even on ebay too. The shipping cost too much.

Match may be a European term for tournament. The only thing I see is the Match comes with an extra spool.

I think I got a way to get Okuma Epixor for a price of 58$. Seems it looks like the Ceymar if better. Thanks for replying.

I'd get the Daiwa. Match reels are shallow spooled reels designed for float fishing light 2-4lb mono. I've never used an Okuma reel I thought was better than the equivalent priced Daiwa or Shimano.

I ordered the Daiwa Revros Lt 3000. I think it will be enough for my purpose. Thanks??
