Haven't been on much recently. Major flooding. Very depressing.

We waited so long for ice out to be rewarded with flooding from the melt, which is typical. What happened next has been a constant down pour that has caused flooding the likes of which we haven't seen in quite a few years. This is the state of our waters. Fishing will be a very late start this year and will be very short lived. I had been fishing a pond waiting for warmer and lower waters, but now it is also flooded out and there isn't much hope left for this season. Even when the waters recede the fishing will have suffered. My brother in law is reporting broken levees and historic flooding up his way.

we have had ice melt and rain cause river flooding here as well. Nothing to the degree you are experiencing though. It is enough however to spoil the spring fishing season so far. No way to kayak, wade or even bank fish the swollen waterways.

 

luckily the ponds here are still viable.

Wow! We're not anywhere near that bad, but it's rained every day this past week. I'm waiting a couple days for it to settle down before I try going out. Hang in there, those fish will be waiting for you.

We've had high rivers all last year, it really sucked. Not nowhere near that high, but high enough you can't fish. 

 

I will say now that we can fish it, fishing has been great, larger than average fish and better numbers. They've been gorging on crawfish. Hang in there man!

The Mississippi has been in flood stage  for over a month . The levees are saturated and the river is expected to crest today  .  Starting monday another wave of rain is suppose to hit .

Yep down here in Missouri too. Finally got 5 days off from work  and it poured the last 2 days. Feel your pain for sure.

Not surprised your area is having flooding since it seems to be a common occurrence every spring in northern states. All that melting snow and rainwater has to go somewhere. Might be a good idea to learn how to fish flooded rivers or fish lakes that are not too affected.

Everything is flooded here too. Some lakes as much as over 30' high and more rain on the way. Thankfully there's lots of small lakes with overflow dams that dump water quickly, so I just have to deal with muddy water but I'm still catching fish.

I’m in Nebraska and feeling this too; we’ve had (2) “500 year floods” in the last 8 years.

 

If the fishing is all you have to worry about during these floods, I don’t feel too bad for you.

Wow, that is terrible. Hopefully it all clears out soon and the limited season is at least one of your more productive ones. On a more positive note, love the brick road and your neighborhood looks like an awesome place to live sans water.
