NittyGrittyBoy Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I was aware of that, but thanks though.? I just mentioned it might not be as exciting to watch as stage 4 was. But again, it's a diversity thing.. Locals that fish Smith Lake are probably enjoying watching it though. 1 1 Quote

Jake Kleindl Posted May 3, 2019 Author Posted May 3, 2019 How about Christie going from 39th to 18th? 1 Quote
Tlauz Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 I love watching on cut days. The movement around that cut line is great. I find it funny when people say "anybody can catch a bunch of small fish". Obviously, if you have watched enough of MLF you would realize that there are lots of times the best fisherman in the world cant!!! 4 Quote
NittyGrittyBoy Posted May 3, 2019 Posted May 3, 2019 Anybody notice some big name Anglers struggling? How can they Excel in B.A.S.S. but falter so bad in MLF? Quote
Tlauz Posted May 4, 2019 Posted May 4, 2019 KVD is the most successful MLF Cup angler of all time with 3 wins. He knows the format. Right now he is not making the right choices. I think history shows many anglers are streaky. When they are hot it seems like everything they do works. When they are cold its the opposite. A few years ago the talk was what is wrong with KVD and will he ever win again. I think he won 3 tournaments the following year. When I look at the MLF standings the one thing I notice is the field is STACKED. It seems like there are a ton of big names, so no matter what there will be big names at the top, big names in the middle, and big names at the bottom. 1 Quote
Super User Koz Posted May 4, 2019 Super User Posted May 4, 2019 There's nothing like grinding on dinks all week long. It makes all but the last 10 minutes of each round boring as anglers try to make the cut. Quote
j bab Posted May 6, 2019 Posted May 6, 2019 In honor of Dean Rojas winning, here is a cool pic I took of him on Monday during practice 5 Quote

BassNJake Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 So the next event starts on Friday the 17th, is that so they can have Memorial Day weekend off? Weird to start a 6 day event on a Friday. On know many lakes where the boat traffic on Friday is minimal and then once the weekend rolls around it's like a huge parking lot out there. Advantage for Group A fishing Friday or Group B's first day being Saturday? Quote

It’ll affect group B equally, which is ok since they’re not eliminating or combining with the top 20 from Group A Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Quote
