MossyBackDaddy Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 All, I have a G Loomis Med/Lt baitcasting rod that I've had for years. Not long after I got it I broke the tip eye and never replaced it. I want to replace the tip but I'm having a hard time figuring out what application to use it for. I was thinking this would be a good smallie plastic stickbait rod or maybe a smallie topwater stick. Any suggestions with this one? Quote
Fishingchucknj Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 Just use their expeditor program and they’ll send you a new rod at a reasonable price. The price varies on the model of the rod. Quote

Super User WRB Posted April 30, 2019 Super User Posted April 30, 2019 To the best of my knowledge only applies to original owner with proof of purchase with a certificate at time of purchase. Tom Quote
thunderblack Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 You do not need the receipt. Email Loomis and send it in. Expeditor program or repair you will be just fine. Quote
Kidflex Posted April 30, 2019 Posted April 30, 2019 No receipt needed, use the warranty and not the expeditor program. Never use the expeditor program unless you just need a replacement in a couple days. You will never be questioned about the damaged rod. You’ll only have to pay out of pocket for shipping. 1 Quote
EvanT123 Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 You could also replace the tip top which is a pretty easy job. Sounds like the rod would work great for your intended use as well 1 Quote

After searching the web maybe some shallow water smallie tubing.(?) Quote
