My friend has a (lightly used) MK Riptide TM and the hinge pin had been drifting out the last time we went out. My Endura C2 has been used a lot more and mine has never drifted out. They were both new in 2017, so I'm wondering is this a known problem on some Minn Kota TM's? I'm suspecting that the molded hinge hole has elongated?

I have a riptide as well, if this one is set up like mine, then it has a sort of crush washer that hold it’s in place on both sides, if they washed is gone it will move around on you. I wound up pulling both of mine and replacing them with same diameter bolts of the same length with a Teflon lock but on the other end. Seems to work better for me.

We ordered (one for me and one for my buddy) two SS over length clevis pins and SS washers and hairpins, that will fix it. What a crummy design.

Have the same issue on my Maxxum Pro 80, problem with mine is when the holes are worn out on the lower arm I cant replace it because they don't make them anymore. I refreshed all the other pivot points though.
