_tyler_wright_ Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Hey guys, just puicked this boat up the other day with a 30 horse Evinrude. It's a big project but it was exactly what i was looking for. I bougt it for 350 dollars and the trailer has brand new wheels and tires. Let me know what you think. I will be posting pictures of progress. Quote
Cory20 Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Good find. Any idea if the engine works? Either way, it looks like all the old stuff is already out of the boat and getting all the junk out can be the hardest part. I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures as it comes together. Quote
CFFF 1.5 Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 Looking at that boat makes me salivate. I have been looking for a boat like that for about 2 months now. I would kill to find a boat like that. Quote
_tyler_wright_ Posted May 31, 2008 Author Posted May 31, 2008 Lol it took me 4 months to find this baby. And when i found it it took me forever to find out whose boat it actually was. There were two of these boat side by side by one of the guys ponds i fish in and neither one of them where his lol. If anyone can give me an idea of where i could find a manual foe an Evinrude 30hp i would be very greatful. Thanks! Quote
Cory20 Posted June 4, 2008 Posted June 4, 2008 If anyone can give me an idea of where i could find a manual foe an Evinrude 30hp i would be very greatful. Thanks! Find the model number and find out what year it is. Then call up some local marina's to see if they carry it. If you don't have any marina's nearby or you don't like their prices, go to amazon.com and do a search for Evinrude 30hp (year) or (model Number) service manual. It won't be the exact manual, but read some reviews and you should be able to find something to suit your needs. If you feel that you need the exact manual you can go to the evinrude site, go to FAQ, find "Where do I find service manual etc. for older engines?" They link you to Ken Cook something or other, I look on there for mine and it seemed really expensive. Probably cheaper to just have a marina order a copy of their service manual. Quote
