Tlauz Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 It has been a long time, but here is my report. I put 10 lb on 3 spinning reels. So far I have only used it fishing weightless wacky worms. I really like it. It casts well and it seems to stretch less than regular mono. I would buy it again. 1 Quote
freelancer27 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I have been using the 8 pound for poppers and the 12 for lipless cranks. Decent line. So far: little memory and it holds up fairly well. Would recommend it. 1 Quote
Smelter96 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 I have 17lb on a spinnerbait rod and it's working like a charm so far. I've caught a couple bonus muskies and pike on it so it's pretty tough 1 Quote
johnmyers Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 Old thread but I put 10 lb advance mono on Metanium MGL on my NRX 852c and it lays on spool nice and casts decent but coils worse than any line I have ever used even with KVD. Try fishing a jerkbait with line that looks like a slinky to me this is junk line Quote
a1712 Posted January 28, 2023 Posted January 28, 2023 I've tried Advanced Mono twice in 10 and 12lb.. It starts out well, casts, handles, low stretch. But that lasts about 2 weeks then it gets chalky with lots of memory. Switched back to McCoy, Yo-Zuri, XXX or Tritanium. Brian. Quote
