Buzzbaits and topwater early in the morning and evening. During the day some kind of soft plastic fished in cover. Lipless cranks.

Welcome aboard!

Soft plastics have been good for me during the heat of the day. I have recently had some success with swimbaits.

Does anyone have any problems with their plastics getting to hot and getting really soft?  The Senko's are already not very durable but when they get hot they suck, they get so soft they just disintegrate off the hook when the fish bites it.  I think i'll start storing them in the ice chest when we fish, does anyone else have to do this?
