kj21 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 I have recently moved to Beaumont TX from New England so this type of water is brand new to me. The sabine river is a tidal river with less than a foot visibility and many marshes and canals. I am looking for a general strategy on how to find bass on a body of water like this. What are the seasonal movements? What are typical patterns? How do tides effect the fish? 1 Quote
Super User Catt Posted April 27, 2019 Super User Posted April 27, 2019 I'm on the Louisiana side of the Sabine River over in Lake Charles. Tidal movements are the key to fishing any tidal waters. To help you understand the Sabine Google tournaments fished on the river. Bassmaster has held several tournaments on the river so there's ample information available both written & on YouTube. Quote
