I fish a lake with a big, weedy flat where the weeds in the spring are 2-3 down from the surface. On windy days I drift the flat, powered by the wind. Several times, I’d make a drift or two with minimal success using various colors of rattle baits. I’d make a third drift with the orange craw RES, and get 10.
