Thomas Olson Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 Good afternoon everyone. So I have heard a few places that sell cheaper tungsten and I’ve looked on here at a few posts. I’m curious on any other possible good places to get some cheap tungsten. I’m always a bit nervous about buying something online and it not coming or taking a month to arrive and a few places have been like that. Anyone got any good suggestions? Quote
CroakHunter Posted April 21, 2019 Posted April 21, 2019 I buy from omfishingsinkers.com they take about 3 weeks to arrive. Worth it for the price. 5 2 Quote

Hawkeye21 Posted April 22, 2019 Posted April 22, 2019 I'm another vote for omfishingsinkers.com Three of us put in a nice sized order over winter and I'm impressed with them, especially for the price. Quote
Super User NYWayfarer Posted April 22, 2019 Super User Posted April 22, 2019 Woo! tungsten is a good alternative. I also wait for Strike King tungsten to go on clearance at Walmart 1 Quote
blckshirt98 Posted April 24, 2019 Posted April 24, 2019 omfishingsinkers.com is legit and where I buy my tungsten. The only other place I'd consider buying tungsten would be in bulk from a vendor from alibaba, but I'll only cross that bridge if they ever ban lead here in CA. Quote
L a r r y Posted May 1, 2019 Posted May 1, 2019 Here is a company that I've ordered from, and have been pleased with https://www.russellmarineproducts.com/category-s/612.htm Quote
EWREX Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 bringing this thread back to see if there are any comparable alternate options to omfishingsinkers? given the current situation regarding china, i am avoiding ordering product from there. 1 Quote
paulmandude Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 The virus will die by the time whatever from China gets to you 1 Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted April 16, 2020 Super User Posted April 16, 2020 Some might be making that decision independent of any health risks 2 Quote

Big Swimbait Posted April 16, 2020 Posted April 16, 2020 I wish there was a more economical way to label them like Titan Tungsten does. The are great weights but very pricy. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted April 16, 2020 Super User Posted April 16, 2020 Label the compartment they're in, or use a paint pen. Not perfect, but works. 1 Quote

As far as I know, all tungsten weights are made in China and go through various middlemen from there. OM is is so cheap because a bunch of the middlemen are cut out of the loop. 1 Quote
CrankFate Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I’m too cheap to buy tungsten. It’s too expensive. I go with copper from China or steel from BPS. Quote

I do label the compartment, but at the end of the day (if I've been on them) I will have several laying around. I do need to mark them with a Sharpie or paint pen. Thanks for the tip! Quote
Michigander Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 Beast Coast is where I got a bunch of Tungsten this year. Great price and I love that each weight is packaged in it's own little chamber. Siebert Outdoors also has quality stuff and gets a fair amount of my terminal money. 1 Quote

Quarry Man Posted April 17, 2020 Posted April 17, 2020 I noticed beast coast has good prices a while back. im set on tungsten for a while. Might try beast coast or om, not sure yet. Quote
Mason Snider Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 I would give flipsideoutdoors.com a look as well, I got some tungsten from them last year and I still have half of it left, high quality tungsten for a great, cheap price. Quote
