long island basser Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I snapped my champion extreme dx 705c in half a few years ago. Use it primarily for pitching jigs and heavier t/rigs. Sent in the Cut 6” logo section they want with two checks,$ 80 for the rod and $20 for shipping. Happy with there service. The whole process took under two weeks. And replaced with same rod dx 705c. Which is a pleasure to fish with. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted April 21, 2019 Super User Posted April 21, 2019 If you are using their replacement/upgrade program as part of the warranty, Dobyns will ship you the replacement same day. You will be charged for the rod in full and given X amount of time to send in the old rod. Once they receive the old rod, they will credit you back the full price of the rod minus the warranty cost for the specific series. Quote

Called them to make sure that what I am seeing on the picture is exactly waht they want. so Just make sure you include the "DC XXX XX" For the upgrading to another level, give them a call. My advice: include memo if this will be the same model or whatever and check inside in the package. yosef Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 I had a Robyn’s champion where the plastic eyelid fell off and they offered to send me a replacement part or ship them the rod to repaid it ...I ended up doing a trade up program with them and got the champions extreme hp ...I would say they have a pretty good warranty program but they had great customer service Quote
