Garmin EchoMAP chirp 93sv screen shots

Anyone got some screen shots of dv or sv showing fish on this fish finder?  I just purchased the Garmin EchoMAP chirp 93sv I am having trouble seeing fish.

The best thing to do that Really helped me out was to turn on your DV and 2d at the same time and when a fish shows up on 2d which typically is easy to see, you should be able to see what it looks like on DV. They typically show up as little bright colored dots. On SV it’s sometimes easier to see the shadow the fish cast rather than the actual fish.

I'm running a 93sv chirp as well. Love the unit but the down vu imagining isnt good at all. The side vu and sonar are awesome.  Maybe a setting I'm missing?  I've got it linked to a 73dv I use for mapping so maybe interference? I agree with the above tho use traditional to find fish then see how it looks on ur down vu.

Thanks for the information. I took it out this weekend and I agree the Dv imaging not very good Sv images look great. How do you post pictures on this forum? When I try to post is says you are only allowed 1003.52kb.

I just purchased a GVC20 and GT34UHD transducer for my 93SV Echomap +... It will be here Thursday, so I will compare the two this weekend.

Reduce the file size of your photos. Plenty of online sites to do it for you

These are screenshots of of the GT34UHD transducer.  They are so Mich clearer than the clearvu transducer.

I have the Striker Plus 9sv and also think the clearvu (DV) is giving me trouble.  I always have 2D sonar up next to clearvu and get the below.  What am I doing wrong here?  I have never once seen a clear picture on clearvu.

I don’t see anything wrong with it.  There isn’t any structure in the area, but it looks like some fish were right under you.  

 

The sonar cone at 5 feet is not that big.  Down and side view are mainly for structure.  I run mine side by side as well.  Sonar shows fish, side and down show cover.  The fish on down are usually small specs.  The fish on side are the same.  You will look for shadows on side for fish as well.

 

try a different spot with a tree in the waters.  You will see a clump of fish and stuff on the sonar, but you will see the tree on the downvu.

Thanks guys.  I'm going to test it out again over some known structure and see what it shows.  I will say that electronics is a big learning curve.  Thanks for the help.
