Well......I finally made it into the club.  I'm now TRULY a bass fisherman.  My Chartreuse JJ's blew up on me today.  Got all over my hands, shirt. and even my face/mustache.  I'm gonna be yellow and stink for a week...lol.  Goop hand cleaner does a pretty good job.

The wife is proud.

Even with that, I will still never not have or use JJ's.  It's the real deal.

I was going to but I just have an old flip phone and when I got home I just wanted the stink off me.

So I chew Redman when fishing some times and I had an accident once. Here is my public service announcement for anyone that chews or does snuff " Put the tobacco in your mouth BEFORE applying Kick-n-Bass to your jig" I cannot emphasize the order of events enough! It may taste good to the fish but trust me Kick-n-bass craw mixed with Redman is not a pleasant taste at 6am and I will just leave it at that.

I knocked a jar off the shelf in my garage once and it broke on the concrete. My garage smelled of garlic for months.

I used to use JJ's. But too many spills, stains, and garlic-odor-that-won't-go-aways later, I tossed it in the garbage.  Never seemed to be much help anyway.

Just seems to work for me.  JJ's for the plastics and Megastrike for skirted stuff.  I actually have a nice little holder I made out of an old rubbermaid container years ago.  I've had minor issues with it in the past but this is my first big blow up.  It sucks but I'll still use it.  I dunno......

Had a bottle tip over in my lap. I'll never use it (The J.J.s) again.

You only spill it once before you handle it like nuclear waste.

Exactly. I almost used the nuclear waste analogy, too! LOL

I keep my jar inside a bigger jar packed with paper towels to catch my mistakes, it's worked great so far. If it's hot out, and you open it too fast, it will jump up and bite you for sure. I was fishing with my wife this day, she really appreciated getting to smell it the whole way home from the lake.

I've heard if you use MegaStrike to brush your teeth 10lb-ers will jump out of the water to kiss you smack on the mouth

I heard Megastrike for slicking your hair back, and a little JJ's on the wrists and behind the ears was the trick.

So many positive reviews for JJ's (minus lone dissenter Glenn)  - I haven't made my mind up ... For adding chartreuse to tails I have used Spike It but most seem to like JJ's over Spike It . If I don't need to add color to craws , worms , etc. I'm more into Kick 'N Bass , BANG or Pro Cure however I just bought a plain flavor tube of Mega Strike to try on TRD's .
