We don't like to brag in Tennessee but since you asked.  Our largemouth record is only 14.8 but our walleye, smallmouth, and crappie records are world records.  Pike and muskie can be caught in east Tennessee but I'm not sure how it compares to up north.  It does get cold here though.  I've seen small ponds ice over for several days ?.

Update that largemouth to 15.2! Gabe keen caught it in chickamauga 2-3 years ago

Move to north Alabama and you’ll have access to the Tennessee River, Guntersville, Pickwick, Smith, Weiss and the Coosa chain, etc.

You’ll be able to fish for largemouth, smallmouth, spots, strippers, white, and hybrid bass, catfish, different species of panfish, and crappie.

And the coosa spots are the meanest fish ever was

They fight above their weight class. I’ve had a 2.5lb spot double up a rod quick, fast, and in a hurry.

I used to live in north AL and I have to agree the fishing is great.  Guntersville and Pickwick are world famous.  Weiss Lake is a very fun lake to fish.  You left Wilson lake off your list.  It's a great smallmouth lake that held the world record before it went to Dale Hollow.

Yea, I knew there was another one in northwest Alabama I was forgetting.
